Dennis led a number of complex change projects, alongside his day-to-day responsibilities for the Northern region. He is a 'can do', 'glass half full' leader who builds great leadership teams - coaching, mentoring and addressing poor performance as appropriate. He also commands the respect of his frontline teams and, equally, can engage with investors and shareholders, building consensus behind great commercial opportunities.
Whilst working for me at Chevron, Dennis: helped me to structure an operational change programme; got behind our employee engagement initiative (Voice of the Employee); led a review of our operational pay structure and implemented the changes; and won several new commercial contracts.
I worked with Dennis during my time at Chevron Traffic Management and highly recommend him. I’ve known Dennis for many years, both as a friendly rival, when we’ve worked for competing companies and more recently as a colleague. I’ve always known him to be professional, personable and passionate. The latter extending to developing the teams he has lead, innovation and the betterment of the TTM industry and ultimately driving the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
